Reprocessing and multiple use of expensive and environmentally harmful dispersing liquids
the dispersion of samples that are measured wet demands a dispersion medium that is tailored for the product. in order to rule out interactions between the particles being measured and the medium, oils and other organic liquids or alcohols are often used. these are not only expensive to purchase and dispose of, but they are also much more harmful for the environment than water. purification and reprocessing of the liquids that are used allow for sustainable operation and significantly reduce the costs and environmental impact of wet analyses.
LIQIBACK is a liquid reprocessing system that can be integrated in the wet measurement circuits of QUIXEL, SUCELL and OASIS体育投注体育 so that dispersing liquids can be reused multiple times. The separation of solid particles is performed via two temperature-controllable sedimentation containers made of stainless steel with a capacity of 20 litres and two downstream filter stages with a fineness of 1 µm and 0.45 µm respectively and replaceable filter cartridges. Two differential pressure filters monitor the filter condition. An impeller pump automatically supplies the reprocessed dispersing liquid to the connected wet dispersers. External vessel heating is available for the stainless steel containers for applications with temperatures up to 80°C, in which temperature-controlled dispersion media are used.
体育投注体育 in order to match the chemical resistance to the dispersing liquid, various different materials are available for the gaskets, tubes and impellers. epdm or fkm are used as standard materials – other materials such as nbr, ptfe or pp are also available as alternatives. please contact our sales team or aftersales service for help choosing the right resistant materials for your application.
